Moel Famau Festive 'Piece of String' Race
This is a pre-Christmas trail event on Moel Famau that starts and finishes at Bwlch Penbarras. A Canicross race runs before the main field. The event takes place on the last Saturday before Christmas.
The "Piece of String" format means the exact route and total distance are not revealed in advance. Organisers will announce when there is 1 km remaining so runners know the approach to the finish.
The route will be between 6 and 12 kilometres in length, will be marked and marshalled, and will include hills and a variety of terrain. Participants are advised to expect uneven and hilly ground and to prepare accordingly. A kit requirement will be communicated nearer the date based on weather conditions.
