MLK Dream Run (2026)
The MLK Dream Run takes place over a weekend, September 19–20, 2026, at Portland Community College Cascade Campus, 705 N Killingsworth St, Portland, OR 97217. The event is a Soul District fundraiser aimed at supporting small business growth and uplifting youth entrepreneurship. Onsite registration is available on both days and pre-packet pickup is offered the day before to help reduce lines on race day.
Saturday features a full-day program with live music, a vendor market, food & beverages, a course test-run with the Nike Shakeout, and community networking. Course maps will be provided to registered participants.

Awards follow USATF guidelines and are given by self-identified gender in Youth, Open, Masters, and Super Masters categories. Prize highlights include a round-trip airline ticket for the overall fastest male and female in each distance, Widmer Brothers beverage prizes for age-group winners, and special swag bags for youth winners. All category winners receive a medal and media recognition. Every finisher receives a swag bag with sponsored gifts, a Nike race t-shirt, a cold beverage, and a fresh grilled cheese sandwich from Dave's Killer Bread and Tillamook Cheese.
