2026 MLK Dream Run : Portland, OR
The 2026 MLK Dream Run takes place Saturday and Sunday, September 19–20, 2026, at Portland Community College - Cascade Campus, 705 N Killingsworth St, Portland, OR 97217. The event is presented as an annual Soul District fundraiser that supports small business growth and youth entrepreneurship. Onsite registration tents are available both days and course maps will be emailed to registered participants.

Online registration closes Friday, September 18, 2026 at 12:00 PM (noon). Advance prices increase after September 3, 2026. Pre-packet pickup and onsite registration are scheduled for Saturday (10:00 AM–5:00 PM) and Sunday (7:00 AM–7:45 AM).
Awards and finish-line services
Awards follow USATF categories by self-identified gender and age groups: Youth (20 & under), Open (21–39), Masters (40–54), and Super Masters (55+). Prizes include a round-trip airline ticket from Alaska Airlines for the overall fastest male and female in each distance, Widmer Brothers beverage prizes for category winners, and swag for youth winners. All category winners receive a medal and media coverage. Every finisher receives a swag bag, a Nike race t-shirt, a cold beverage, a fresh grilled cheese sandwich (Dave’s Killer Bread & Tillamook Cheese), and entry into raffle drawings. Post-race activities include music, raffle prizes, networking, and a Soul-Ful Vendor Village. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
