The MedZou Ophthalmology Annual 5K is a community run/walk organized by the University of Missouri’s Ophthalmology Department to raise funds for MedZou’s Community Health Clinic. Purpose and course
Proceeds support the clinic’s ophthalmologic services and equipment purchases, including an Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) machine. The course follows the MKT Trail to a turnaround at the 1.55-mile mark and returns along the same path to the finish. A hydration station is provided at the turnaround point.
Registration and logistics
Online registration includes an option to reserve an official race t-shirt if completed by March 13. After that date registration remains available at a reduced price but without a t-shirt. T-shirt pickup is scheduled at the PCCLC Health Science Library on Friday, April 11 (2:00-5:00 pm) and on the day of the event (8:00-8:45 am).
