About the Event
The MedZou Ophthalmology Annual 5K is a run/walk hosted by the University of Missouri's Ophthalmology Department. Its purpose is to raise funds for the MedZou Community Health Clinic, a free clinic that provides care to underserved patients in Columbia, Missouri.
The event takes place at the Twin Lakes Recreation Area at the Twin Lakes Shelter. Following the event, there will be refreshments, games, and food trucks. Kids, pets, and families are encouraged to attend.

The event features a 5K distance.
Course Information
The course follows the MKT Trail to a turnaround point at the 1.55-mile mark and returns along the same path to the finish line. A hydration station is available at the turnaround.
Registration and T-Shirts
Registration is available online. Participants who register by March 13 are guaranteed an official race t-shirt. Registration remains open after that date but does not guarantee a shirt. T-shirts can be picked up on Friday, April 10 at the PCCLC Health Science Library, or on the day of the race before the event starts. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
