Misty's Legacy is a virtual 100-mile challenge supporting the preservation of the historic Beebe Ranch. Participants walk, run, ride, or cycle at their own pace, tracking progress for a commemorative medal. The event is open to all and operates on an honor system.

Charity Purpose

The event is a fundraiser to support the Museum of Chincoteague Island's effort to acquire the historic Beebe Ranch on Chincoteague Island, Virginia. A donation is made from each entry.

Participation Details

The challenge is hosted by WARHORSE Endurance Challenges and is open to riders, walkers, runners, and cyclists. Participants can take as long as needed to complete the 100 miles. Progress can be shared in an associated Facebook group. Completion is based on an honor system.

Finisher Awards

Upon completion, participants receive a commemorative medal, an embroidered patch, a sticker, and a dog tag. Shipping within the USA is included in the entry fee; international participants receive a cloth patch instead of a medal unless other shipping arrangements are made.
