Lake Natoma Trail Run
Lake Natoma Trail Run is an annual trail race held on June 6, 2026 on the north shore of Lake Natoma in Fair Oaks, California. The event was formerly known as the Mississippi Bar Trail Run and follows single and double track through wetlands, oak-studded bluffs and rocky terrain left by historical gold dredging.
Distances offered:
- 5K course with oak-lined bluffs, single and double track, and sections of steep elevation change.
- 10K course using the 5K trails plus additional routes through dredged rock areas and along the lakeshore.
The event entrance is at Sunset and Main Avenues near 9500 Sunset Ave. Packet pick-up is available the day before the race and on race morning. Race timing uses chip technology with live results and runner tracking managed by a professional race management company. Race maps are published and may be updated.
Entry fees vary by registration period, with listed ranges for the 5K and 10K. Active and retired military receive a reduced entry fee. All entry fees are non-refundable but entries may be transferred to another individual. Race registration is managed through Race Roster. Proceeds support the Rachel Anne Gray Memorial Scholarship.
