Missionary Ridge Road Race : Chattanooga, Tennessee
The Missionary Ridge Road Race is an annual road running event held in Chattanooga. The 2026 edition is the 53rd running and features both a main road race and an untimed fun run that start and finish at Bragg Reservation.
The course covers a 4.7 mile road race and a 1 mile fun run and passes through the historic Missionary Ridge neighborhood, offering views of Chattanooga and Lookout Mountain. Runners encounter one hydration station on course that is passed twice. All finishers receive a medal, and event shirts (tank tops) are provided to participants unless they opt out. Door prizes are awarded after the race; recipients must be present to win.
This race is part of the Chattanooga Track Club scoring and is the final event in the Battle for Chattanooga Race Series. Net proceeds benefit the American Red Cross of Chattanooga and Team Bruner.
Logistics include parking at McCallie School with shuttle transport to Bragg Reservation, restrooms available at McCallie and portable facilities at Bragg, and a race day bag drop area. Packet pickup is offered the day before at Front Runner Athletics and on race day at Bragg Reservation. Results are posted on the Chattanooga Track Club results page.
