Missionary Ridge Road Race : 53rd running
The Missionary Ridge Road Race is a community road race held on Missionary Ridge with the start and finish at Bragg Reservation. The event includes scenic views of Chattanooga and Lookout Mountain and runs through the historic Missionary Ridge neighborhood.
Course and offerings:
- 4.7 mile road race
- One mile fun run
The course has one hydration station that runners pass twice. Special race shirts (tank tops) are provided to participants unless they opt out. All finishers receive a medal. Door prizes are awarded after the race and winners must be present to claim prizes.
Competition and series: The 4.7 mile race is a Chattanooga Track Club Runner of the Year points race and serves as the final race in the Battle for Chattanooga Race Series. Cash awards are offered for top overall finishers and for Masters, Grand Masters, and Senior Grand Masters, plus age-group awards. Note that top overall awards use gun time while other awards use chip time.
Logistics: There is no parking at Bragg Reservation. Event parking is provided at McCallie School with shuttle service to the start area. Packet pickup is available early at Front Runner Athletics and on race day at Bragg Reservation. Registration is online only.
