Mission Bay 5K
The Mission Bay 5K is part of the Mission Bay Triathlon on October 11, 2026. The event is a 5K run that begins at Venture Cove near the transition area and finishes at Bonita Cove Park in front of the Giant Dipper Roller Coaster.
Participants receive a bib number and official race timing, a finisher medal, and a T shirt. Finish line snacks are provided, and after the run complimentary snacks and drinks are available. The event includes entry to the Seek Beer Co. Beer Garden and access to the Life Sports Foundation Ballast Point Beer.
Awards are given in two age categories: 40 and over, and 39 and under. Strollers cannot be accommodated on the course, and slower participants are asked to allow triathletes and duathletes a clear path to the finish area.
