Mischief on the River 5K
Mischief on the River 5K is the inaugural event presented by Spanner Tree & Shrub Care, Inc. and hosted by River Rats Athletics (501(c)(3)). The run takes place along a scenic rail trail beside the Delaware River and is intended as a flat, fast out and back course.
The event is scheduled for October 11, 2026, at Frenchtown Elementary School, 902 Harrison St, Frenchtown, NJ. Timing is provided by Pretzel City Sports. The course includes an aid station near the turn-around point. The venue offers on-site parking and access to bathroom facilities. Post-race refreshments will be available.
Entry is limited to the first 225 participants and the event will be held rain or shine. Registration fees are set by date: early registration at $39.99 until September 12, late registration at $44.99 from September 13 to October 10, and race day registration for $50.00 cash only. Registration includes an event-branded BibBoard (valued at $10.00).
Awards are given for overall 1st place Male, Female, and Non-binary finishers. Age group awards for 1st through 3rd place Male, Female, and Non-binary categories are offered in these groups: 14 and under, 15–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, and 70+.
