Mischief on the River 5K : Frenchtown, NJ
The Mischief on the River 5K is an inaugural road/trail race presented by Spanner Tree & Shrub Care, Inc. and hosted by River Rats Athletics 501(c)(3). The event is scheduled for October 11, 2026, at Frenchtown Elementary School, 902 Harrison St, Frenchtown, NJ 08825.
The course is a scenic, flat, out and back rail trail along the Delaware River and includes an aid station near the turn-around point. Timing is provided by Pretzel City Sports. The venue offers on-site parking and access to permanent bathroom facilities. Post-race refreshments will be available after participants finish.
Registration is limited to the first 225 participants. Fees are tiered by date: early registration is $39.99 until September 12, late registration is $44.99 from September 13 through October 10, and race day registration is $50.00 cash only. Registration includes an event-branded BibBoard valued at $10.
Awards include overall 1st place recognitions for male, female, and non-binary finishers. Age group awards for 1st through 3rd place in male, female, and non-binary categories are presented for these groups: 14 and under, 15–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, and 70 and over.
