Course Details
The course is paved and winds through Long Leaf Park. The 5K route consists of two loops from the start line, while the 1 Mile route goes 0.5 miles out and back. The course is designated as stroller and wheelchair friendly.
Awards
Awards are given for the 5K and 1.5 Mile events. For the 5K, awards go to the top three overall males and females, plus the top three in standard age groups for both genders. For the 1.5 Mile, awards go to the top three males and females. There are also community team awards for largest team, largest corporate team, and most funds raised.
Beneficiary
The event supports ACCESS of Wilmington, a nonprofit that provides adaptive sports, recreation, and fitness programs for children, adults, veterans, and first responders with disabilities.
