The S"pet"acular Runner Ducky Relay Race
This is a trail relay hosted by the Gate City Striders in Nashua, held at 7 Stadium Drive. The event is presented as part of a series and uses a dressed rubber duck as the official baton that teams pass on course.
Distances offered include:
- 3.1 Miles
- 5 Miles
Team formats and course sections are specified for each distance. The 5 Mile Relay is for two person teams with a first leg of 2 miles and a second leg of 3 miles. The 5K Relay accepts two or three person teams with sections of 1 mile, 1.1 miles (with a water stop), and 1 mile.
There is no charge to enter the race itself. Participants may make donations directed to the Nashua Chapter of the Humane Society. Additional fundraising activities include raffles, donations of needed items for the Humane Society, and the option to purchase extra rubber duck batons.
