Event Overview
The Mind Over Matter Triathlon is a USA Triathlon-sanctioned event taking place at Coconut Cove RV Resort in Hazel Green, Wisconsin. It is a fundraiser for glioblastoma (GBM) brain cancer research, with proceeds donated to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

Course Details
The sprint triathlon course begins with a swim of approximately 375 meters in the calm lake at Coconut Cove RV Resort. The bike segment is a 23 km (14.4 mile) two-loop course on quiet country roads in Grant County, described as hilly. The run is a 5 km (3.1 mile) rolling out-and-back course that finishes on a path around the lake, featuring an optional slip-and-slide at the finish line.
Youth triathlon distances vary by age group, utilizing a pool swim and loops on roads within the RV resort for the bike and run segments.
Participant Perks & Awards
All finishers receive food and drinks at the finish line, a water bottle, and a finisher medal. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, and the top three finishers in each division. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
