Galena Sky Trail Races
The Galena Sky Trail Races are held at Chestnut Mountain Resort, 700 W Chestnut Mountain Rd, Galena, Illinois 61036. The event uses resort trails that are the same hills used for skiing in winter and includes views across the Mississippi River toward Iowa and Wisconsin.
The event is organized as timed loop formats. Timing will keep track of each runner's mileage and awards are given to the runners with the most mileage. Ties in mileage are settled by who reached the mileage earliest.

- 8 hour timed loop course
- 4 hour timed loop course
