Mimosa Marathon (or 4/26.2 of a marathon)
The Mimosa Marathon is a social fun run across Edinburgh that follows a route from Tollcross to Portobello. The route starts at Seamus's Pub in Tollcross and finishes at Dougal’s on Portobello High Street (163 Portobello High Street, Edinburgh EH15 1EU). The course passes The Meadows, Duddingston Road Lower and Duddingston Village and is described as mostly downhill. Participants receive a mimosa at the finish.
The event is presented as a relaxed, social run and participants may walk all or part of the route. The run is undertaken at participants' own risk and organisers are not liable for injury or harm during the event. Tickets are sold for entry and all ticket proceeds will be donated to Crisis to support people experiencing homelessness as part of the organiser's fundraising for an upcoming Himalayan trek. Refunds are available up to seven days before the event.
This is an in-person event with a stated duration of two hours. Travel options listed for reaching Dougal’s include driving, public transport, biking and walking. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
