Course, rules and awards

The 10K follows an out-and-back course on country roads with a few rolling hills and includes three water stations. The 5K walk begins on the 10K route, follows the shaded Ice Age Trail out and back, then rejoins the 10K route; it has one water station and is designated non-competitive, though participants may run it. The 1 Mile run is on residential streets and features a steep downhill at the finish.

All participants under 18 must have parent or guardian permission. Competitors in the 10K must be at least 13 years old on race day or have specific permission from the race director. Awards include overall first place male and female in both the 10K and 1 Mile, plus age-group awards (first through fifth) in the listed age categories.
