The 10 km route is an out-and-back on country roads with a few rolling hills and three water stations along the course. The 5 km walk begins on the 10 km route, continues on the shaded Ice Age trail out and back, and rejoins the 10 km route for the home stretch; it has one water station. The 1 mile run takes place on residential streets and finishes with a steep downhill.
Pre-race packet pickup and day-of registration are handled at the Milton High School event entrance on race day; day-of registration carries a higher fee. Standard registration fees are listed per event. All participants under 18 must have parent or guardian permission. Competitors in the 10 km must be at least 13 years old on race day or have specific permission from the race director.
