The Millstone Creek Apple Cider 5k/10k takes place on November 1, 2025, at Millstone Creek Orchard, 506 Parks Crossroads Church Road, Ramseur, NC. The event benefits the Ramseur Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Fund. It is part of the Piedmont Race Series, sponsored by DICK'S Sporting Goods and timed by Finish Line Timing. There is no early packet pickup; race day registration is available.
Race courses, entry options and awards
- 5k - course on orchard grounds, with views of orchards in full fall colors.
- 10k - course begins and ends at Millstone Creek Orchards and passes through Downtown Ramseur.
- Virtual 5k - participants map and time a 5k at their chosen location and submit results on or before November 1.
Awards are provided by DICK'S Sporting Goods. Prizes include Top 3 overall male and female, and Top 3 male and female in these age groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70+. A special award is designated for the largest team. Virtual top finishers will receive awards from the sponsor and those items will be mailed the week of November 9. All participants receive a coupon for an apple cider smoothie from Millstone Creek Orchards. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
