5th Annual Run with Lily 5K & Kids Superhero Run
The Run with Lily 5K & Kids Superhero Run returns for its fifth edition at Freedom Park in Liberty, North Carolina. This community event is held to honor the legacy of Lily Butler and to raise awareness for mental health support. Proceeds from the event are directed to The Oaks Therapeutic Community to provide mental health counseling services for those in need.
Participants can choose from several event options:
- 5th Annual - Run with Lily 5K
- 5th Annual - Run with Lily Kids Superhero Run (1 Mile)
- 5th Annual - Run with Lily 5K - VIRTUAL RUN
The 1 Mile Kids Superhero Run is open to children aged 12 and under. Participants in the kids' event are encouraged to wear superhero costumes. Virtual participants have the flexibility to complete their distance at a location of their choice between March 1 and March 13.
In-person activities take place at Freedom Park, located at 800 Hamilton Drive. Swag for the event includes shirts for participants, while children in the Superhero Run receive medals and winners are awarded capes.
