Event

The Bad Santa 5K takes place on Sunday, December 20, 2026, at Carondelet Park in St. Louis, Missouri (3900 Holly Hills Blvd, 63116). The course starts and finishes near the Boathouse and runs through park areas that include lakes, woods and railroad tracks.

Race details

This is a timed 5K run. Registration fees vary by date, with listed early pricing beginning at $28.90. All registrants receive a custom race shirt and a finisher item. Race day packet pickup will be available at Carondelet Park.

Afterparty and charity

A post-race gathering is scheduled at Urban Chestnut Brewery and Bierhall in The Grove. Urban Chestnut provides a free beer for participants; Fordo's Killer Pizza will offer discounts on pizza. The event partners with the Kurt Warner First Things First Foundation and Operation Food Search for the Warners’ Warm-Up Coat Drive, collecting new and gently used coats, hats and gloves for local distribution.

Awards and volunteers

Overall awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers, including a gift card from Running Niche and a commemorative award. Age-group awards go to the top three male and female finishers in each listed age category. Volunteer roles and a signup form will be posted when needs are finalized.
