Bad Santa 5K, Carondelet Park, St. Louis
The Bad Santa 5K takes place on Sunday, December 20, 2026 at Carondelet Park in St. Louis. It is a timed 5K run that starts and finishes near the park boathouse and follows a course that passes lakes, woods, and railroad tracks.
Participants receive a custom race shirt and a finisher item. After the run there is an official afterparty at Urban Chestnut Bierhall in The Grove. Urban Chestnut provides one free beer for participants and Fordo's Killer Pizza offers discounts on pizza slices and large pies.
Organizers collect new and gently used winter coats, hats, and gloves for the Kurt Warner First Things First Foundation and the Warners’ Warm-Up Coat Drive. Operation Food Search will distribute donated items to those in need.
Awards are given to the top 3 overall male and female finishers, including a gift card from Running Niche and a commemorative award. Age group awards are presented to the top 3 male and female finishers in the following groups: 19 and under; 20 to 29; 30 to 39; 40 to 49; 50 to 59; 60 to 69; 70 and over.
