Millside Fitness Bun Run 5K
The event is a 5K loop that includes hills, trails and road surfaces. The course meanders through woods and the streets of Dexter and both the start and finish are located in downtown Dexter in front of Millside Fitness at 26 Main Street, Dexter, ME 04930.
Participants may run or walk the course. Strollers and leashed pets are welcome. The race is professionally timed. All finishers receive a finisher's medal and the top three male and top three female finishers will receive prizes to be announced. Packet pickup and same day registration occur in front of Millside Fitness on race day.
Registration information includes an initial fee of $35. The fee increases to $40 on June 9 and to $45 on July 10. Registration closes at 11:59 PM on Tuesday, August 4. Participants registered by July 24 are guaranteed a t shirt in their chosen size; registrations after that date will receive t shirts based on remaining availability.
Proceeds from the event support Heart of Maine Resource Center. The organization connects neighbors with resources such as food distribution, housing and heating assistance, educational opportunities and other services. The resource center received the donation of the historic Bert Call Studio and has begun renovations to establish a food hub and service space.
