Event Overview
The Millis Boosters Back to School Run is a community event taking place on September 27, 2026. It supports the athletes, teams, and athletic programs of Millis Middle and High School, with all proceeds directed towards these causes. The event will be hosted for the eighth year.
Distances
Two distances are available:
- A 5K run or walk on a course featuring rolling hills through Millis.
- A 1 Mile fun run held on school grounds at Millis High School.
Event Details
The 5K is chip-timed by Second Wind Timing, with immediate printed results available. Prizes for top overall winners and age-group medals will be awarded for the 5K. The 1 Mile fun run is not chip-timed, but a large timing clock will be at the finish. Prizes or medals will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers aged 12 and under. Strollers are welcome in both events.
Registration
Standard registration prices are $25 for the 5K and $15 for the 1 Mile. Early bird pricing ends on August 1, after which prices increase by $5 until online registration closes. Race day registration incurs an additional $5 fee. Special pricing is available for high school-aged and younger athletes participating in the 5K. A free t-shirt is offered to participants registered by September 4, 2025.
