Millerton Madness Triathlon
Millerton Madness Triathlon is scheduled for 08/23/2026 at Meadow Campground (Madera Side), Millerton Lake, Friant, California. The event day includes on-site triathlon and run events plus virtual options and sponsorship tiers.
The Super Sprint Triathlon is USAT sanctioned. The swim starts in the water at the Millerton Lake Boat Launch and follows a 400 yard course around buoys back to the boat ramp, where athletes exit to the Transition Area. The bike departs the Transition Area and follows an out-and-back route north toward the Millerton park entrance, turning at the top Millerton Lake SRA sign; the bike course features rolling hills and returns to the Transition Area. The run uses asphalt roads, leaving the Transition Area and heading north about 1.1 miles to a turnaround at the crosswalk, then back to the finish for a 2.2 mile total.
The 5k run is entirely on asphalt and follows a northbound out-and-back from the Transition Area, approximately 1.5 miles each way. Relay Madness allows teams of two or three athletes to share the triathlon stages. Virtual options let participants complete the triathlon or run anywhere and submit results; organizers offer shirt and medal mailing.
