Millersburg Food Run - Millersburg, Ohio
The Millersburg Food Run is a community running event held on July 26, 2026, supporting the Love Center Food Pantry. Profits from the races are donated to the pantry, which serves nearly 1,000 families in Holmes County and handles large annual food distributions.
The event offers multiple distances and race formats:
- 10K - competitive, professionally timed
- 5K - competitive, professionally timed
- 1 mile - non-competitive
- Kids 1 mile - non-competitive
Courses run on a flat, paved Rails-to-Trails path starting at Hipp Station Depot near historic downtown Millersburg. The route passes through wooded areas and farm fields and shares the trail with cyclists and Amish buggies; wildlife such as deer and occasionally birds of prey may be visible. Parking is free at Hipp Station with additional street parking nearby.
All participants receive a medal, a goodie bag, and a ticket for a post-race prize drawing. Gift baskets are donated by local businesses and the drawing is held after the race begins. T shirt deadline has passed but extra shirts have been ordered and sizes are available while supplies last. Race categories are separated by gender and multiple age groups with small gift card awards for top finishers. Registration fees vary by distance and by whether registration is day of event.
