Miller Mountain Trail Challenge : Tunkhannock, PA (May 9, 2026)

The event takes place at 156 Jurista Dr S in Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania and offers trail courses with significant elevation. The primary 25K course includes roughly 4,700 feet of elevation gain with four separate ascents of Miller Mountain, each exceeding 1,000 feet. The route begins with a short section on a dirt road before the first climb and includes steep, rocky, and sometimes wet trail sections, multiple viewpoints including overlooks of the Susquehanna River and of the town of Tunkhannock, and several aid stations placed along the course. Parts of the course cross private properties such as Bennie's Nursery and travel through areas described as Christmas tree plantings and near a summit pond. The final climb contains steep segments followed by a fast, flowing descent to the finish area, where a post-race gathering and meal are provided.

A shorter course highlights key vistas on Miller Mountain with about 2,000 feet of elevation gain and a steep climb followed by a rocky descent.
