Course Information

The 25k course features approximately 4,700 feet of total elevation gain. The route includes four separate ascents of Miller Mountain, each with over 1,000 feet of gain. The race begins with a short section on a dirt road. The course passes through private property, including Bennie's Nursery and Tree Farm and the Barziloski farm, and offers views of the Susquehanna River and the town of Tunkhannock. It is described as having steep, rocky, and wet trail sections. There will be four aid stations on the course.

The 5-mile course features approximately 2,000 feet of elevation gain. It is described as a shorter format that highlights some of the best views from Miller Mountain, involving a steep climb and a steep, rocky, wet downhill section.

Registration and Logistics

Registration closes on Wednesday, May 6. Packet pickup is available on Friday, May 8, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the race start/finish area, and on race morning starting at 7:00 AM. Registration will also be available at these times. The policy states there are no refunds, deferrals, or bib swaps.

Post-Race and Awards

All participants receive a customized finisher gift, event swag, and a full post-race meal. Top male and female finishers in both the 25k and 5-mile distances will receive a custom award. There are no age group awards.

Charitable Support

Net profits from the event benefit two local charities: the Countryside Conservancy and the Wyoming County United Way. A race-day basket raffle will be held to generate additional donations for these organizations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
