Miles for Smiles 5K - Anderson County
The Miles for Smiles 5K is an inaugural running race organized by Foothills Community Health Care. The event takes place at the Anderson Mall and serves as a fundraiser for the Building Bright Smiles capital campaign. Proceeds from the race are designated for outfitting a new dentistry division to expand dental care services to patients in the Anderson, Clemson, and Easley areas.
Participants will follow a 5K course that is modeled after the Electric City Gobbler route. This is a timed event featuring live results for all runners. Participants are encouraged to wear costumes, such as tooth fairy outfits, to align with the dental care theme of the fundraiser.

Registered participants receive a t-shirt featuring the race logo. Awards are presented to the top three male and female runners in various age groups, as well as the top three masters male and female finishers. The event proceeds regardless of weather conditions, and race packets are available for pickup at the starting location 90 minutes before the activity begins.
