Miles for Motion + 5K Color Run, Monroe LA
The University of Louisiana Monroe Physical Therapy Student Association (PTSA) presents a community 5K color run at Forsythe Park, 2300 Sycamore St, Monroe, LA 71201, on August 22, 2026. The event is open to all ages and includes a dedicated kids area with games and face painting.
Vendors and local businesses will have booths at the event, providing opportunities for shopping and community interaction. Registration opens on June 15, 2026 and closes on August 22, 2026. The registration fee is $30.
Participants who register by July 20, 2026 will receive an event T shirt included with registration. Registrations after July 20 will still be able to obtain T shirts for purchase at a cost of $20.
All proceeds from Miles for Motion support student led community engagement and outreach initiatives. Contributions are used to support a variety of local and national organizations, with a focus on serving rural and underserved communities, and to support the development of future physical therapists through leadership, professional growth, and service activities.
