Miles for Mom - Cookeville
Hope Adoption Agency organizes the third annual Miles for Mom event in Cookeville, featuring a 5K and a 1-mile Kids Fun Run. The event exists to celebrate and support birth mothers, adoptive families, and children, and aims to raise $50,000 to cover event costs and advance the agency's pro-life mission. The agency states the funds will help expand housing opportunities for expectant mothers and keep adoption services affordable for adoptive families.
Race packets are available for pickup at the Hope Adoption Agency office at 235 W Main Street, Cookeville, TN. Packet pickup is offered on Thursday and Friday, May 7-8, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, with an additional pickup time the morning of the event. For the Kids Fun Run, children receive a medal upon completion. Event volunteers have completed background checks and signed waivers in agreement with volunteer duties and agency regulations.
Registration pricing is listed as follows:
- Early bird January 26 to February 28: $30 (t-shirt included)
- Regular March 1 to May 7: $35 (t-shirt included if registered by April 24)
- Late May 8-9: $50 (t-shirt not included)
