About the race
Miles for Moffitt is a community fundraising event held on November 21 in downtown Tampa and online to support Moffitt Cancer Center research. Since 2006 supporters have raised over $16.2M for cancer research, funded more than 112 pilot research projects, and participants have joined virtually from 48 states. The event brings together families, patients, survivors, walkers, wheelchair racers, competitive runners, advocates, and corporate teams.

- 10K (6.2 Miles)
- 10K Adaptive Athlete (6.2 Miles)
- 5K Run (3.1 Miles)
- 5K Walk and Strollers (3.1 Miles)
- 10K plus 5K Challenge (combined 9.3 Miles)
- 1K Fun Run/Walk (0.6 Miles)
- Kid's Dash for children 8 and under
- Virtual At-Home options including a mailed participant packet
The in-person event is centered at Benchmark International Arena, 401 Channelside Dr, Tampa, FL. Virtual participants can complete distances on their own and submit results online; virtual options include youth and adult packets that will be mailed to registrants.
