Miles for Minds 5K, Edison
Miles for Minds 5K is presented as a family-friendly event at Roosevelt Park in Edison, NJ. The event includes a USATF sanctioned and timed 5K race and a separate 1 mile Walk & Roll Fun Run around the park lake. It is open to participants of all ages.

Pre-registration fees are listed for each event. The 5K registration includes an official runner bib and refreshments; a reduced number of participants who meet a fundraising threshold receive event t-shirts. The Walk & Roll Fun Run registration includes refreshments, is not timed or scored competitively, and is not eligible for race awards. On-site registration is available on race day.
Proceeds support the JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute at JFK University Medical Center. Funds are intended to support equipment, research, staff training and facility upgrades. Fundraising incentives include recognition for top individual and team fundraisers and fundraising pages remain open until August 1.
The course is a park loop on roads described as wooded, shaded and lakeside. Course traffic is controlled and marshaled, emergency medical technicians will be on-site, water is available on course and at finish, and timing and scoring are provided by CompuScore. Baby strollers, bicycles, pets, skates and roller blades are prohibited in the 5K. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
