Miles for Mammograms, Savannah
Miles for Mammograms is a 5K walk/run scheduled for October 24, 2026 at LAKE MAYER, 1850 E. Montgomery Crossroads, Savannah, GA 31406. The event raises funds to assist uninsured and underinsured persons in obtaining free screening and diagnostic breast imaging.
The event is organized in collaboration between M.A.R.T.H.A., Incorporated, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated - Gamma Sigma Omega Chapter, and Curtis V. Cooper Primary Healthcare, Incorporated. This collaboration began in October 2022 and has provided services to more than 400 individuals per year.
Registration is available from September 1, 2026 through September 26, 2026. The registration fee is $25. The format is a community walk/run over a 5K distance focused on supporting breast imaging access for people without adequate insurance.
