Miles for Malawi 5K 2026
Miles for Malawi is a fundraising 5K organized by Pamoza to support families in rural Malawi. The event takes place on May 16, 2026, at Eastern University in St. Davids, PA, and is offered in-person and virtually. The event is held rain or shine.
The communities Pamoza serves lack running water, electricity, and many basic resources; out of 45,000 people in the service area, fewer than five families have a car. Funds raised through the event support scholarships for high school and college, economic opportunities and entrepreneurship training, healthcare and medicine provided at a community clinic, agricultural training for year-round food production, and Christian outreach activities led by Pamoza staff. Pamoza describes its approach as holistic, addressing physical needs such as food and healthcare alongside spiritual development and community relationships.
Registration categories include free for ages 5 and under, $20 for ages 6 to 12, $25 for ages 13 to 18, and $35 for adults; on-site registration carries an additional $10 fee.
