Miles for Maddog
Miles for Maddog is a timed 5K and 10K walk/run with a virtual race option. The event is scheduled for Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 19900 South Harlem Avenue, Frankfort, IL. The course is chip timed, certified, and sanctioned by U.S. Track & Field. The event honors organ and tissue donors, transplant recipients, first responders, healthcare workers, and caregivers. Proceeds support the Maddog Strong Foundation and its education work to encourage teens and young adults to discuss and register as organ and tissue donors.

Logistics and policies
Packet pick-up is available the week before the race at the Maddog Strong Foundation office in Mokena, IL. Awards are given to the top three male and top three female finishers in each age group: 12 & under; 13 - 17; 18 - 29; 30 - 39; 40 - 49; 50 - 59; and 60 & over. Water is available on the course, and snacks and water are provided at the finish area. Strollers and dogs are allowed on the course but participants must be courteous and clean up after pets. The race runs rain or shine; refunds are not issued for no-shows or weather-related cancellations, though registered participants may request a refund of the base registration (fees excluded) if the event is rescheduled.
