MileBuilt Gemini Springs 2-Day Challenge
The event takes place January 23–24, 2027, at Gemini Springs Park in DeBary, Florida, using the Spring-to-Spring Trail / Pat Northey Pathway. The measured course is an out-and-back route that begins and ends at the O.K. Corral pavilion. Repeated out-and-back laps return runners to the O.K. Corral for aid between loops. The trail runs mostly under a canopy of palm hammock, live oak, and cypress, creating a tunnel of trees. Runners who park near the path may access their vehicle between repeats, though stepping off the path can add distance.
Distances offered:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
- Marathon
- 50K confirmed for this event
Race operations note that the event is cupless: participants should carry their own fluids in a handheld bottle, vest, or waist pack. MileBuilt supplies water, an electrolyte drink, and basic snacks at the aid station, but participants should not rely on the aid station as a complete nutrition plan. Camping inside Gemini Springs Park is primitive tent camping only; there are ten sites with a fire ring, picnic table, and groomed tent pad and no RV spaces. Bib pickup is handled on race day on an honor system; a friend may pick up a bib on a runner’s behalf and bib transfers are not permitted.
The finish is not chip timed. Finishers must cross the line, strike the GONG, and complete the Clock Out at the MileBuilt Time Clock for an official finish record verified by the Race Director. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
