About the race
Mile Madness at Brookvale takes place in Brookvale, PE, Canada on October 31, 2026, at Brookvale Alpine Ski Park. The event uses a predetermined loop of roughly one mile that climbs the ski hill and returns to the start/finish area.
Participants attempt to complete as many loops as possible within one of three set time limits. Directions on the loop are changed every 30 minutes to vary the route. Each loop has an approximate elevation gain of 60 to 70 metres. An aid station at the start/finish provides water, Tailwind, sugary items, and salty snacks. Costumes are encouraged.
Entry is available for three duration options:
- 1 hour
- 2 hours
- 4 hours
The listed entry fee is CA$35 for each duration. The event does not offer refunds. Transfers are permitted so a registration may be transferred to another person.
The format allows running, hiking, or walking the loop repeatedly; the loop length is described as "mile-ish" rather than a precise measurement.
