Mike Reese Memorial 5K - Roast, Run & Family Fun

This community event takes place on 07/04/2026 at Pavilion 1 in Mammoth Park, 171 County Park Rd, Mount Pleasant, PA 15666. The day centers on a non-competitive 5K walk/run around Mammoth Park and a separate youth run program.

Activities include a main 5K course and a kids program called Mike's Mini Milers, an approximately 1/4 mile fun run for children 10 and under that runs in repeated heats through the morning. The event format is informal and the 5K will not be officially timed.

Food and beverage service is part of the event; lunch includes a roasted pig, kielbasa, sauerkraut, special sauces and additional items from Giannelli's. Snacks and drinks are available as participants finish. Musical entertainment and raffles are scheduled as part of the program. Race T-shirts are included with registration for entries received by June 10; additional shirts may be available for purchase at the event.

Registration is organized into adult and youth categories and a separate children’s entry for the Mini Milers.
