The Skridge Legacy 5K
The Skridge is an evening community event in downtown Homewood that combines a 5K run, a kids dash, and a post-race festival. The event takes place at the Homewood Trak Shak on June 6, 2026, and includes on-site festival activities for families.

- Kids Dash (400 m)
Race entry details note that the 5K has an entry fee and the Kids Dash is free. A separate Food and Beer ticket for non-runners is available for a fee. Race registration includes a bib, a t-shirt, and a food and drink ticket for participants who purchase race entry.
Packet pickup is available at the Homewood Trak Shak on the day before and the day of the event. The post-race festival features live music, food and drinks with a menu from Oak Hill Bar & Grill, and activities for children.
Prizes are awarded to top finishers with gift cards for overall and masters categories and additional awards for second and third overall places in male and female divisions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
