Event overview
The Mighty MoJo Memorial Run for CDH Research is scheduled for Sunday, April 12, 2026, in Media, Pennsylvania at Ridley Creek State Park - Pavilions 11a & 11b (1023 Sycamore Mills Road, Media, PA 19063). The event is the fourth annual run held in memory of Molly Joan and raises funds for congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) research. Organizers report raising over $80,000 in the previous three years. All net proceeds will go to CHOP’s CDH Research Fund. Registration for the listed events opens January 1, 2026.
Distances
- 4.4 Miles - loop on the paved multi-use trail, start/finish near Site 11 on the service road.
- 1 Mile Walk - out-and-back route run in the opposite direction from runners.
Course, awards and amenities
The 4.4 mile run follows one full loop of the paved trail inside Ridley Creek State Park and is professionally timed by Bryn Mawr Race Company. The 1 mile walk uses an out-and-back course; walkers may continue on the trail but may miss post-race refreshments if delayed. Awards for the 4.4 mile run include prizes for the top three overall finishers and first place in each age group (0-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+); winners must be present to claim prizes. Race registration includes a t-shirt and post-race refreshments. The event is held rain or shine and includes live music and family-friendly activities after the finish.
