Mighty MoJo Memorial Run for CDH Research
This annual memorial run raises funds and awareness for Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH) and directs net proceeds to CHOP’s CDH Research Fund. The event marks its fifth year and follows previous fundraisers that collectively raised over $100,000.
The event takes place at Ridley Creek State Park, Pavilions 11a and 11b, in Media, PA. It offers two course options:
- 4.4 Mile run following one full loop on the paved multi-use trail near Site 11.
- 1 Mile walk using an out-and-back route in the opposite direction of the runners.
The 4.4 mile run will be professionally timed by Bryn Mawr Race Company. Awards for the 4.4 mile run include prizes for the top three overall finishers and first-place winners in age groups: 0-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+. Race registration includes a t-shirt (guaranteed through a specified date) and post-race refreshments. Packet pickup is available on a pre-event evening and on the morning of the event.
Post-race activities include live music and family-friendly activities. The event is held rain or shine.
