Mighty Madison's Birthday 5K
Mighty Madison's Birthday 5K takes place on September 20, 2026 at Marjorie R. Post Community Park in Massapequa, New York. The event includes a main 5K and a short kids fun run held in the park.

Online registration opens May 15, 2026 and closes September 19, 2026. Registration fees listed by the organizer are $30.00 for the 5K and $15.00 for the Kids Fun Run. On-site registration is available on race day.
The course runs along paved paths throughout the park and requires three and a half loops around the park to complete the 5K. There is a water stop that participants pass four times; on the fourth pass a right turn leads to the finish.
The event commemorates Madison, who was diagnosed with DIPG, a malignant brainstem tumor, on April 1, 2019 and who died on December 2, 2021 after 32 months.
