Midwest OCR - Marseilles, Illinois
Midwest OCR is an obstacle course event produced by Race Ready Obstacles and held at The Cliffs Insane Terrain Off-Road Park in Marseilles, Illinois. The course runs across rugged terrain that includes hills, cliffs, ravines, creeks, and wooded trails. Every registered racer receives a custom finisher shirt, a finisher medal, and professional action shot photos at no extra cost.
Available distance options include:
- 10K 6.2 miles, 30+ obstacles
- 5K 3.1 miles, 20+ obstacles
- Kid's Course 0.25 to 0.5 mile loop, 10+ obstacles
- Ruck 5K or 10K options with weighted backpacks
- Bearded Challenge three laps of the 10K loop
The 10K Elite category requires successful completion of all obstacles to be eligible for overall podium awards; overall top finishers receive cash prizes and age group podium awards are given for top three in each age group. The Bearded Challenge awards additional medal pieces for extra laps. Ruck participants must bring their own ruck and are advised to use recommended weights of 20 pounds for women and 30 pounds for men; crawls and carries are required while other obstacles remain optional. The kid's course is designed for younger children and allows parents to accompany and assist.
Parking is offered off-site at 4 Star Campground for a cash fee, with shuttle service to the venue. VIP on-site parking is pre-paid and limited in availability.
