Midsummer Mile Fest
The Midsummer Mile Fest is the second annual track event held by the Athens Athletics Club on July 25, 2026 at the Alexander High School track complex in Albany, Ohio. The program takes place in the evening and includes races for children, students, community runners, and invited elite fields.
Race offerings include a set of short youth races and multiple one mile races across age groups. Distances featured at the event:
- 60 m - Mini Mile (age 1-5)
- 400 m - Kids Quarter Miler (K-3rd grade)
- 1 mile - Youth, Middle School, High School, Community, and Elite mile races
Youth races are free to enter. Community, middle school, and high school mile races have an entry fee of $10. Spectator admission is free. Elite mile fields are listed with qualifying performance standards of 5:00 and under for the women and 4:10 and under for the men. The event uses the school track setting and schedules several age-graded heats during the evening session. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
