Midnight Run 5K/10K for Special Olympics : Leawood, KS

The Midnight Run 5K/10K for Special Olympics is scheduled for July 25–26, 2026 in Leawood, Kansas. The event uses a fast course through the streets of Leawood and is presented by the Leawood Police Department, a participating agency in the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Kansas. The event raises funds for Special Olympics.

All finishers in the 5K and the 10K receive custom finishers medals. The 10K is a run only event with a one hour and fifteen minute time limit because of road closure limitations; roads will be reopened after the time limit. Awards include top overall male and female, plus top three male and female in each age group: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus.

The event location is 11725 Roe Ave, Leawood, KS 66211. Packet pickup is scheduled on Saturday, July 25 from 8:00am to 10:00am at the Special Olympics Kansas Office at 5280 Foxridge Drive in Mission, KS, and at the race site beginning at 10:30pm.
