Midnight Run 5K/10K for Special Olympics

The Midnight Run 5K/10K for Special Olympics takes place Saturday July 25 to Sunday July 26, 2026, in Leawood, Kansas. The event is presented by the Leawood Police Department as a participating agency in the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Kansas. It raises money for Special Olympics and includes races on a course that runs through the streets of Leawood and is described as fast. The event location is 10601 Lee Boulevard, Leawood, KS 66211.

Packet pickup is scheduled for Saturday, July 25, from 8:00 am to 10:00 am at the Special Olympics Kansas Office at 5280 Foxridge Drive in Mission, KS, and at the race site beginning at 10:30 pm.

Awards and entry

Participants in both events compete for top overall male and female awards. Age-group awards are given to the top three male and top three female finishers in these groups: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. All finishers in the 5K and 10K receive custom finishers medals. Entry fees listed are $32 for the 5K and $35 for the 10K; fees increase after March 15, 2026.
