Midnight Run 5K/10K for Special Olympics
The Midnight Run 5K/10K for Special Olympics takes place Saturday July 25 to Sunday July 26, 2026, in Leawood, Kansas. The event is presented by the Leawood Police Department as a participating agency in the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Kansas. Packet pickup is scheduled for Saturday, July 25, from 8:00 am to 10:00 am at the Special Olympics Kansas Office at 5280 Foxridge Drive in Mission, KS, and at the race site beginning at 10:30 pm.
Awards and entry
Participants in both events compete for top overall male and female awards. Age-group awards are given to the top three male and top three female finishers in these groups: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. All finishers in the 5K and 10K receive custom finishers medals. Entry fees listed are $32 for the 5K and $35 for the 10K; fees increase after March 15, 2026.
