15th Annual Turkey Trot - Midland Texas
The Midland Turkey Trot returns for its 15th annual edition on November 26, 2026. This community event takes place in Midland, Texas, with the start and finish area located at the First Baptist Church at 2104 W Louisiana. The event is organized by Addy's Hope Social Services and serves as a morning activity for participants to engage in physical exercise on Thanksgiving Day.
Participants can choose from multiple distance options:
- 10k Run
- 5k Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Kid's Fun Run (reserved for ages 12 and under)
The event is open to families and pets. Runners and walkers are encouraged to wear costumes, such as turkey-themed outfits, or dress up their pets for the occasion. Registered participants who complete their registration by November 2 are guaranteed to receive a race shirt and a runner bag.
Packet pickup is available on the morning of the event at the race site. The course maps are provided by the organizer for the various distances.
