About the race
The 9th Annual Middleton Turkey Trot 5K occurs on November 26, 2026, at the Flint Public Library parking lot, 1 S Main St, Middleton, MA. The event takes place rain or shine and includes an open adult 5K plus a youth category for participants 15 and under.
The course is a 3.1 mile lollipop route that starts and finishes behind the Flint Public Library. It runs on a combination of paved road and hard packed dirt with some rolling hills. The route follows Middleton Pond on paved road for about 0.7 miles, continues on hard packed dirt for about 0.5 miles, makes one large loop through residential back roads, and returns along the pond for the final 1.2 miles.
Registration and fees are tiered by date: $30 through 9/30, $35 through 10/31, $40 through 11/25, and $45 on race day. The youth 15 and under category has a reduced fee ($25 through 9/30, $30 through race day). Early packet pickup is available the day before at TrueView Financial, 259 S Main St, and packet pickup and race day registration will be handled at the library.
All participants pre-registered by 11/12 are guaranteed a long sleeve race shirt, and all finishers receive a medal. Awards are given to the top three male and female overall and top three male and female in each listed age group. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
