9th Annual Middleton Turkey Trot 5K
The event takes place on November 26, 2026, at the Flint Public Library parking lot, 1 S Main St, Middleton, MA 01949. It features a 5K (3.1 miles) lollipop course that starts and finishes behind the library and follows a mix of paved and hard packed dirt roads with some rolling hills.
The course follows Middleton Pond on paved road for about 0.7 miles, then turns onto a hard packed dirt road for about 0.5 miles, makes one large loop through residential back roads, and returns along dirt and paved sections for the final 1.2 miles.
There is a youth category for ages 15 and under that runs the same 3.1 mile course. Registration opens on September 1, 2026. Fee tiers listed by the organizer are: $35 through October 31, $40 through November 25, and $45 on race day; youth pricing is $25 through October 31 and $30 thereafter.
Pre-registered participants by November 12 are guaranteed a long sleeve race shirt. All finishers receive a medal. Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in each age group from 12 and under up to 90 and over.
