Middlesbrough Half Marathon Presented by Science in Sport (1 March 2026)
The event takes place in Middlesbrough Town Centre on Sunday 1 March 2026 and supports the Great North Air Ambulance Service. The organiser is RunThrough UK and the event is presented by Science in Sport. The start and finish are at Centre Square on Albert Road. The road-closed course passes through Albert Park, runs past Riverside Stadium and loops around the docks before returning to Centre Square.

The half marathon is a one-lap, road course with total elevation listed as 67 m and described as flat. The junior race is on flat road terrain with elevation listed as 1 m. Entries include a unique themed medal, chip-timed results, free race photos and post-race goodies. Each kilometre on the route is marked with distance flags and marshals are provided along the course. An event village will be provided with food and drink options and partner freebies at the finish.
