Mid Cheshire 5k (Spring) 2027
Mid Cheshire 5k is a spring road race set in the Cheshire countryside on Friday 21 May 2027. The event uses a fast route discovered in 2013 and has hosted the England Athletics 5k championships; current course records are 13:38 and 15:02.
The race starts and finishes on Ball Lane where a full rolling road closure will be in place. A small Race HQ will be set up in a field on Mill Lane; parking is provided in nearby fields using postcode WA6 8HL and the event location is listed as Kingsley, WA6 8HY. A course map and race instructions are provided to entrants.
Entry for the spring 5k is priced at £28.00 with an additional booking fee of 8 percent (minimum £0.80). UK Athletics members receive a £2 discount on validation of membership. Entries close on Monday 17 May 2027 at 23:55. Entrants must be 13 or over on race day.
The organisers state there will be refreshments for finishers and that a UK Athletics licence is to be confirmed. The organisers may cancel the event or move entrants to the corresponding race the following year if required parking fields are unavailable. Refunds and deferrals are not offered; transfers to another runner are allowed at no extra cost until midnight on the Monday before the race.
