Mid Cheshire 5k (Spring) 2027
Mid Cheshire 5k is a 5k road race set in the Cheshire countryside, scheduled for Friday 21 May 2027 in Kingsley (postcode WA6 8HY). The course starts and finishes on Ball Lane and benefits from a full rolling road closure on the start/finish section. A small Race HQ will be located in a field on Mill Lane (postcode WA6 8HL) with parking provided in nearby fields; if adequate parking fields are not available the organisers may not stage the race and entries can be moved to the corresponding race the following year.
The event uses a route established in 2013 and is often used by runners seeking quick times; it has previously hosted the England Athletics 5k championships and the course records are 13:38 and 15:02. Refreshments will be available for all finishers. UK Athletics licence status is to be advised.
Entry details include a standard fee of £28.00 plus a booking fee of 8% (minimum £0.80). UK Athletics members receive a £2 discount on validation. Entrants must be 13 years or older on race day. Entries close Monday 17 May 2027; the organiser’s published refund and transfer policies state that refunds are not offered, but transfers to another runner are permitted without charge until midnight on the Monday before the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
