Mid Cheshire 5k (Summer) 2026
The event is a 5k road race organised by Run Cheshire on 28 August 2026 in the Kingsley area of Cheshire. The course starts and finishes on Ball Lane and a full rolling road closure will be in place at the start/finish section. The organiser uses a seeded start and a small Race HQ will be located in a field on Mill Lane with parking in nearby fields; participants are asked to follow signs and marshal directions on the day.
The race has hosted championship-level competition in the past, including the England Athletics 5k championships in 2017 and 2018. Course records listed for the route are 13:37 and 15:03. Refreshments will be provided to all finishers and a UK Athletics licence is listed as to be announced.
Entry information includes a standard fee of £28.00 with a reduced validated rate of £26.00 for UK Athletics members; a booking fee applies. The organiser states that refunds and deferrals are not offered. Entrants must be aged 13 or over on race day.
