Mid Cheshire 5K

The Mid Cheshire 5K is a road race held in Kingsley, Cheshire, set in the Cheshire countryside. The event takes place on Friday 22nd May 2026 and Friday 28th August 2026 and uses a measured 5 km course that starts and finishes on Ball Lane under a full rolling road closure.

The course was recorded as the fastest in the UK in 2018 and carries course records of 13.45 and 15.28. The event has twice hosted the England Athletics 5k Road Race championships.

Logistics include parking, a scaled down Race HQ and toilets located in fields close to the start area, with postcode WA6 8HL. Race instructions are sent by email and race numbers are posted approximately one week before race day. The event is organised with two races and multiple seeded waves; transfers and changes after the date shown on confirmation emails are not available to preserve seeding arrangements.
