Michigan Titanium
Michigan Titanium is a multi-discipline endurance event held at Versluis Park in Grand Rapids, Michigan, with swim activities in Versluis Lake. The event includes an ultra-distance triathlon covering 140.6 miles that begins with a 2.4-mile swim, continues with a 112-mile bike and concludes with a full marathon run.
Beyond the full distance, the program offers shorter course options across triathlon, duathlon, aquabike, relay and swim-only formats. Distances listed in event categories include half, Olympic and sprint variations, with swim, bike and run segments provided for each listed distance in their respective categories. Relay options for two and three person teams are available for some triathlon distances.
A virtual solo option is offered for athletes who cannot race in person. The virtual option runs during the month of August and permits participants to choose Olympic, half or full distances for triathlon, duathlon or aquabike events; it is an untimed, on your own effort where athletes select their venue and schedule.
This is a USA Triathlon sanctioned event. Participation requires either a current USA Triathlon membership or a USAT one day pass, with the one day pass price set by USA Triathlon and varying by distance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
