Michigan Spartan Event Weekend
The Michigan Spartan Event Weekend is a two-day obstacle race held on July 18 and 19, 2026 at Cannonsburg Ski Area in Belmont, Michigan. The event offers multiple race distances and on-course obstacles set into natural terrain near Grand Rapids.
The venue features steep climbs and challenging descents at the highest vertical ski resort in southwestern Michigan, with a mix of trails, bridges, rolling hills, sand pits and water crossings across more than 11 miles of rugged terrain. Cannonsburg Ski Area is described as easy to access from Chicago, Detroit and Milwaukee and is about 20 minutes from Grand Rapids.
