Metro Way 5K & West Fest
The Metro Way 5K and West Fest take place in Wyoming, Michigan on July 22, 2026, presented by LMCU and organized with UM Health-West. The event combines an in-person 5K with a festival format called West Fest that features food trucks, live music, inflatables, and hands-on activities aimed at children and families. Proceeds from the race benefit the nursing excellence fund at UM Health-West.
A virtual 5K option is available; participants may run or walk the distance on their own. Virtual participants must submit a race time by the end of July 22, 2026 to be sent a medal and T-shirt. T-shirts are guaranteed for those who registered before Wednesday, June 24, 2026. The in-person 5K has a listed registration fee of $25.00; the virtual 5K fee is $30.00.
YMCA Youth Races are held in conjunction with the event and include short running distances for children. Distances and formats vary by age group, including 50, 100, and 150 yard races. Youth registration is listed with no fee. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
