Metro Aberdeen Proms 3K Winter Series 2026/2027
Metro Aberdeen Running Club presents the Promenade 3K Winter Series on the Beach Esplanade in Aberdeen. The series runs on the first Friday of each month from October to March, with scheduled race dates on 2 October, 6 November, 4 December 2026, and 8 January, 5 February, 5 March 2027. The course is measured by Jones Counter and the event is promoted under SAL rules.
Entry is by pre-entry only; no entries are taken on the day. The entry fee is £3 per race and entrants must register for each race. Numbers are issued on the day and the same race number should be retained for the series. Participants are requested to report to registration at each race to confirm participation.
Series scoring uses accumulated times from three races to determine overall standings. Series prizes are awarded in various categories. There is a separate junior U/16 series for 2026-2027.
