Metro Aberdeen Promenade 3K Winter Series (2025/2026)
Metro Aberdeen Running Club presents the Promenade 3K Winter Series at The Beach Esplanade, Aberdeen. The series is promoted under SAL rules and the course has been measured by Jones Counter. Events are scheduled on the first Friday of each month from October to March, with dates listed for October 3, November 7, December 5, January 9 (2026), February 6 (2026) and March 6 (2026). The course location is 150 metres north of the Beach Leisure Centre on the promenade.
Format and entry
Entry is by pre-entry only; entries will not be accepted on the day. The entry fee is £2 per race plus a 50p administration charge and competitors must register for each race. The same race number should be kept for the series and numbers are collected on the day. Accumulated times from three races count toward the overall series. Series prizes are awarded in various categories. There is a separate series for juniors under 16 for 2025-2026. Total places for the event are shown as 135.
