METAvivor 5k
The METAvivor 5k is scheduled for Saturday February 7, 2026 in Newtown Square, PA at Ridley Creek State Park, Picnic Area 17. The event offers both an in person run and a virtual run or walk.

The event benefits the METAvivor charity, which supports metastatic breast cancer research, support, and awareness. One hundred percent of proceeds after race expenses will be donated to METAvivor. METAvivor focuses on research for Stage IV breast cancer.
The course uses the paved main multi use trail at Ridley Creek State Park and follows an out and back route beginning at Picnic Area 17. Organizers describe the course as flat. Post-race refreshments listed include bottled water, bananas, apples, oranges, Chick fil A Lima coffee, pretzels, granola bars, homemade blondies, and other items.
In person results will be chip timed from start to finish and professionally processed by Bryn Mawr Racing Co. Awards for the in person run include top 1st and 2nd overall male and female based on chip times, plus medals for the top 3 male and female in these age groups: 0-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus.
