Event
The METAvivor 5k is scheduled for Saturday, January 17, 2026, in Newtown Square, PA. The event benefits the METAvivor charity; 100% of proceeds after race expenses will be donated to METAvivor to support metastatic breast cancer research, support, and awareness. The in-person portion takes place at Ridley Creek State Park - Picnic Area 17, 350 Gradyville Rd, Newtown Square, PA 19073.

Registration fees for the in-person event are $20 through January 10, 2026, increasing to $25 for registrations from January 11 through January 17, 2026. The virtual event registration fee is $20. Virtual registration closes on January 17, 2026.
Course, timing and awards
The course uses the paved main multi-use trail at Ridley Creek State Park and follows an out-and-back route beginning at Picnic Area 17. The in-person race will be chip timed and professionally timed by Bryn Mawr Racing Co.; official results will be posted by the race timing provider. Awards include top 1st place overall male and female (based on in-person chip times) and medals for the top three male and female finishers in these age groups: 0-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
